Crossville Airport Open House and Fly-in well attended.

The Crossville Memorial Airport celebrated its 82nd year of operation with an open house and fly-in Saturday and drew a good crowd.

In addition to a wide variety of planes and choppers, there were plane rides and some fun flying to watch.  In addition, the Family of the late councilman and long time pilot Boyd Wyatt, Sr. recieved the first award named for for Mr. Wyatt.  The award is planned to be awarded every year to recognize others who support the Crossville airport and local aviation.

Crossville council member Pam Harris, left and city marketing director Billy Loggins, right, present Camilla Wyatt with flowers and the Boyd Wyatt Sr. award named in honor of her late husband.
