CROSSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE

September 9, 2016

On Thursday, September 8, 2016 City of Crossville Police officers were dispatched to Burger King, on North Main Street, in reference to an attempted robbery. The suspect had fled the area on foot, prior to police arrival. Upon police arrival, it was reported that a male subject, wearing black pants, black hoodie, skull mask, and a yellow safety vest, had entered the store and demanded that employees fill a black Adidas gym bag with money. When the employees did not fill the bag, the suspect ran out of the business, traveling east, toward a residential area.
