Both Parents of 5 year old reported missing now face charges in connection with his death

NASHVILLE – A joint investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of the mother of Joe Clyde Daniels, the five-year-old who was the subject of an Endangered Child Alert last week.

Joe Clyde Daniels was reported missing by his parents the morning of Wednesday, April 4th. At the request of the Dickson County Sheriff’s Office, the TBI issued an Endangered Child Alert, and law enforcement agencies, search and rescue organizations, and citizen volunteers began an exhaustive search in the area of his residence.

On April 6th, at the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, TBI Agents opened an investigation into criminal conduct. During the course of the investigation, and after a three-day search, authorities developed information that the child’s father, Joseph Daniels (DOB 10-16-89), intentionally killed his son sometime during the night of April 3rd-4th in the family’s residence and then hid his son’s body. On the morning of April 7th, TBI Agents arrested Joseph Ray Daniels (DOB 10-16-89) and charged him with one count of Criminal Homicide.

On Monday, ongoing investigative efforts led TBI Agents to arrest Krystal Nicole Daniels (DOB 11-2-90) and charge her with one count of Aggravated Child Neglect or Endangerment. Agents subsequently booked her into the Dickson County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.

CANCELLED AMBER ALERT: Ten Year Old girl missing from Cleveland Tennessee

The girl was recovered from a wooded area near her home.

A TENNESSEE STATEWIDE AMBER ALERT HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE CLEVELAND POLICE DEPARTMENT.

A Tennessee statewide AMBER Alert has been issued by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation on behalf of the Cleveland, TN Police Department for 10-year old Yazmin Linares Medina, a Hispanic female who stands 5'2" and weighs 100 pounds. Yazmin has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white shirt and green/brown shorts. She was carrying a black jump rope and was last seen around 8:20 p.m. EST, walking in the area of Parker Street and 20th Street in Cleveland. Endangered Runaway from White County

MISSING CHILD ENDANGERED RUNAWAY.

An Endangered Child Alert is being issued by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for the White
County Sheriff Department for 17 yr-old Sarah L Key.

Sarah is a white female with brown hair and green eyes, 5'3" and 130 lbs.

Sarah was last seen at her residence on Friday May 12, 2017.

There is no known clothing description or direction of travel. It is believed that Sarah may be with a 30 yr-old white male. There is an order of protection in place against the male to stay away from Sarah.
