Hazardous Weather Outlook calls for High Wind, Storms Tuesday night followed by Cold Temperatures

A strong cold front will sweep across Middle Tennessee Tuesday evening. Severe storms are possible late Tuesday afternoon and evening. The best chance for severe weather will occur west of I-65. The primary threat is damaging straight-line winds. Large hail and isolated tornadoes are also possible.

In addition, a Wind Advisory is in effect from Tuesday morning through Tuesday evening. South to southwest winds will increase Tuesday morning up to 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 35 to 45 mph at times. This strong winds may blow down a few trees, tree limbs, or power lines.
