Friday through Wednesday Tropical Storm Nate is forecast to strengthen into a hurricane and make landfall along the northern Gulf Coast on Sunday. Although still uncertain, the latest forecast track brings the remnants of Nate near or across Middle Tennessee late Sunday into Monday with a threat for locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds.
