City crews taking over leaf pickup operation with new equipment.

Crossville crews are now picking up leaves inside

the city limits. We caught up with a crew using a 

rental leaf vac the week of Thanksgiving in order to

get started on the back up of leaves.

The City of Crossville Street Department has received the leaf removal equipment. The Street Department will begin picking up leaves in each area once every two weeks beginning Monday, November 27, 2017. This schedule will continue until January 11, 2018. It is not necessary to have your leaves bagged. Please have leaves by the road in an area where leaves can be easily accessed by equipment. If your leaves are missed, you can contact the Public Works office Monday – Thursday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by calling 931-484-7631 and make arrangements for leaf removal.
