Crossville Police Department announces promotions of Long-time Officers Kendrick and Hancock

The City of Crossville Police Department and Chief Jessie Brooks proudly announce the promotions of Deputy Chief Chris Kendrick and Administrative Lieutenant J.C. Hancock. Deputy Chief Kendrick is a 19-year police veteran serving with the City of Crossville Police Department. Deputy Chief Kendrick has been an active member of this agency, serving as Interim Chief, Patrol Captain, K9 Supervisor, SWAT Sniper, and Firearms Instructor. He will continue to serve the City of Crossville as Deputy Chief in addition to the duties of administration.

Administrative Lieutenant J.C. Hancock is a 27 year Police veteran serving with the City of Crossville Police Department, as well as a U.S. Army veteran. Administrative Lieutenant J.C. Hancock has been an active member of this agency, serving as a Detective Sergeant, Patrol Staff Sergeant, DARE and School Resource Officer, Driving School Instructor and is currently responsible for maintaining the certified officer’s POST training requirements. He will continue to serve the City of Crossville as the Administrative Lieutenant, in addition to the duties of administration.

The promotions of Deputy Chief Chris Kendrick and Administrative Lieutenant J.C. Hancock were made effective on November 25, 2018. We are proud of the work ethic and leadership qualities of Deputy Chief Kendrick and Administrative Lieutenant J.C. Hancock, and we look forward to many years of continued service to the citizens of the City of Crossville.
