With recent flooding closing the road near the entrance to Greenbriar Subdivision off of Highway 70E several times, the city is working to alleviate the problem from happening again.
The city is installing a larger culvert across the road and replacing a damaged culvert under the driveway bridge.
Public Works employees said the road could be closed for most of the afternoon today January 6th.
