The city of Crossville sent out an update on the March meeting agenda Monday morning outlining some possible options to the dog tethering ordinance discussed for the last few weeks.

The initial ordinance would restrict the tethering of dogs between 7 PM and 7 AM and the maximum time a dog could be tethered at 8 hours.
The addition to the agenda includes the following possible options:
Option 1: As discussed at the work session and listed as an attachment;
Option 2: Changes the time frame to make the policy a bit more relaxed for the dog owners;
Options 3: Eliminates set time restriction and only restricts the total time when a dog may be tethered to a running line or pulley system
The matter will be discussed near the end of the council's agenda.
