Officer Garcia recognized as Crossville Police Officer of the Month
In January 2018, Patrol Officer Martin Garcia observed a vehicle that he suspected to have been reported stolen. The vehicle was confirmed stolen by Ptl. Garcia, who witnessed it traveling in the area of Stanley Street. The vehicle pulled into an apartment complex, in an attempt to evade detection. Ptl. Garcia acted quickly and made contact with the vehicle and the driver was taken into custody. His attention and observation led to the recovery of the stolen vehicle, which was processed and returned to its rightful owner. Ptl. Martin Garcia’s diligence and dedication to duty reflect greatly add to the effectiveness and professionalism of our agency.
