Crossville Moods: Photos of Main Street in May 2018 by Jim Young

As a long time photographer of Crossville, I've seen a lot of moods of our town Crossville.  On a morning earlier this week, I went out with the camera to capture the pictures with clouds and the ambiance of Main Street.

Any of the photos are available for purchase in an 8 x 10 size for $12.  Email us at jimyoungreporter@gmail.com

include the newer Grinderhouse Coffee and Mitchell's Drugs,

Amazing Wednesday evening August 2nd sunset and rainbow at the same time in Crossville!

Wednesday evening August 2nd was a spectacular sunset and at the same time a rainbow as a light shower came through the area.

To the west was a sunset of clouds and yellow sky

And if you turned around you were presented with a rainbow at the exact same time!

After capturing these images, travelling down Crossville's Main Street presented a silhouette of the Palace Theatre framed by the beautiful sunset.

Flip Flop Friday at the Crossroads another success for kids and kids at heart.

Friday at the Crossroads continues to be successful at bringing folks to Main Street and Downtown area businesses for a community event that includes fun, food and music.  While the weather was warm and sunny it was not too humid and that brought out the community.  Many seem to to really enjoy the chance to get out on a Friday evening and just enjoy historic Downtown Crossville,

The next Friday at the Crossroads is set for August 4th!

Sunset lights up the Cumberland County Courthouse

Thursday evening as the Taste of Crossville was starting to wind down, the sunset bathed the Courthouse in the warm color of the sunset pinks and orange.

Downtown Crossville dressed for fall.

It was a bright fall morning today and a great time to get a few pictures of Main St, in Crossville dressed up for the season.  Downtown Crossville, Inc puts up the light pole decorations and several businesses have their own decorations too.  Enjoy!
