NOAA has also issued the following weather statement for today.
Today and Tonight A line of showers and thunderstorms, of which some of the thunderstorms within and possible just ahead of this line could reach strong to severe thresholds, will move across Middle Tennessee this morning. With any strong to severe thunderstorms that do occur, damaging winds will be the main concern, although large hail, the formation of a few tornadoes, and brief heavy rainfall from the stronger showers and thunderstorms resulting in localized minor flooding could also occur.
