Candidates for the August County Races for Co. Commission and BOE Taking Shape with Some New Additions

Nominating petitions for candidates in the August County Election for County Commission and Board of Education (BOE) have also started to come in. Two commissioners from each district and one BOE member will be elected in August voting. Most of these candidates have taken out papers but not yet returned them. The deadline for qualification petitions to be turned in to the Election Commission office is April 5 at noon.

All new candidates since the last update are marked with an asterisk. *  Those who are officially qualified and any incumbents are also indicated.
