County Mayor Candidate J.C. Hancock holds Community Round Table February 14, 4 to 6 PM.

J.C. Hancock, candidate for the office of Cumberland County Mayor announced the kickoff of a series of Round Table events taking place across Cumberland County today.

The first roundtable event will take place at the Fairfield Glade Community Club located at 128 Stonehenge Drive from 4:00p to 6:00p on Wednesday, February 14th. The public is welcome to attend.

“My Round Table events will be a reflection of how I will communicate with Cumberland Countians when I’m Mayor. In order to restore accountability to the Mayor’s Office, openness and transparency have to come first. And that begins with making myself easily available and accessible to the citizens of this county who entrust us with the privilege of leading. We have problems in Cumberland County and the same tired, politics as usual or side-show circus acts we’ve seen too often in the local media lately will not fix those problems. The County Mayor is a public servant whose responsibility is to serve the people- not the other way around. I look forward to continuing the conversation I’ve started with Cumberland Countians.”
