I-40 Westbound remains backed up though accident cleared at 280 Mile Mark Past Cookeville July 4th 2018

UPDATE: Wreck Cleared as of 10:30 but backup remains.

If you are headed west on I-40 this morning you might want to delay your trip a bit.  The Westbound lanes are completely closed and traffic being rerouted.  The Multi-vehicle accident may not be cleared until mid-afternoon.
