A tradition that goes back some 30 years, the City of Crossville open house will be Thursday evening from 4 to 6 PM at the Palace Theatre on Main Street.
Started by Crossville Mayor Willis Cox in the 1980's and then known as the Mayor's Open House it was held in the old city hall building, now the home of the Crossville Fire Department. In later years the council was included as the events sponsor and it has been held in city hall and at the Palace.
This years event is hosted by friends of Crossville and the public is welcome to attend and enjoy light refreshments, music from piano students in the main theatre and a chance to chat with city and other officials.
