Jerry T. Brownstead has taken out a petition to qualify for having his name put on the November ballot for a seat on the Crossville city coincil.
Brownstead is the 9th to take out papers for the 2 available seats on the council. The two seats are currently held by Pete Souza and Jesse Kerley.
Brownstead is an entertainer who also goes by Jerry J. Thomas. As of July 15 he had not returned the petition with the necessary signatures but the deadline is still over a month away.

Jeanette Parsons and
Scott Shanks
